Flo's Airport Cafe
Flo's Cafes have been family owned since 1975. Originally, the Airport Cafe was owned by Flora Slack as early as 1962, but when her health failed, she offered to sell it to her friend, Paul Hughes. Paul had been a Navy cook, and his wife Donna could bake a pretty good pie. So the two of them set out to build their restaurant future together.
They started by keeping some of Flora's dishes that were favorites among the local dairy men and aviators, and kept adding family recipes.
